WorkLinkUp Terms of Use
1. About WorkLinkUp
WorkLinkUp is a brand operated by Specular Business Services LLP, India (“Specular”, “WorkLinkUp”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
WorkLinkUp helps individuals discover employment opportunities, manage job applications and access career and learning services. It also enables companies to create company workspaces, publish jobs, review applicants and use recruitment or staffing services.
Certain WorkLinkUp services may be operated or fulfilled by Specular employees, authorised recruitment partners or service providers.
By creating an account or using WorkLinkUp, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
WorkLinkUp accounts are intended for individuals who are 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into an agreement and using employment-related services.
You must provide accurate information and use WorkLinkUp only for lawful purposes.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must not impersonate another person or organisation, create misleading accounts, access another user's account or attempt to bypass WorkLinkUp security or permission controls.
We may require email verification or additional verification before providing certain features.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected misuse, fraud, legal compliance or protection of users.
4. Candidate accounts
Candidates may use WorkLinkUp to maintain a profile, upload resumes, save jobs, save searches, receive job alerts, submit applications, participate in staffing processes, access Career Services, use Academy courses and contact Support.
Your candidate profile and resume are not intended to become publicly searchable merely because you create an account.
Information may be shared with a company, authorised recruitment partner or relevant WorkLinkUp operations personnel when necessary for an application or recruitment process and subject to the product's applicable permission and authorisation controls.
5. Job listings
WorkLinkUp may contain different types of job listings.
Some jobs are submitted directly by companies using WorkLinkUp. Other jobs may be discovered from approved external or public sources and displayed with source information.
WorkLinkUp may review companies and jobs and display verification or source information. Verification does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement or warranty that a company, job, person, employment outcome or representation will always be accurate or suitable.
Users should review the information available for each opportunity before applying or making employment decisions.
6. Externally discovered jobs
Some listings direct candidates to an external website to complete an application.
When you leave WorkLinkUp, the external site's own terms, privacy practices and security controls apply.
WorkLinkUp does not control third-party application websites and cannot guarantee their continued availability, content or recruitment process.
We may remove, expire or flag an externally discovered listing if its source becomes unavailable, materially changes or no longer satisfies our publication rules.
7. Companies and employers
A company user represents that they are authorised to act for the organisation they associate with their WorkLinkUp account.
Companies are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their company information, job descriptions, employment terms, applicant communications and recruitment decisions.
Companies must not use WorkLinkUp to publish fraudulent, misleading, unlawful or discriminatory opportunities or to obtain candidate information for unrelated purposes.
WorkLinkUp may review, request corrections to, reject, suspend or remove company information or listings where reasonably required to protect marketplace quality or comply with law.
8. Recruitment and staffing services
Some hiring requirements may be processed through Specular's staffing workflows rather than being published as ordinary marketplace jobs.
Approved recruitment partners may receive access only to requirements assigned to them.
Recruitment partners must not submit a candidate without the candidate authorisation required by WorkLinkUp.
Candidate information must not be reused, sold, disclosed or processed for unrelated purposes.
Participation in a staffing process does not guarantee interview, selection, placement or employment.
9. Applications and recruitment decisions
Submitting an application does not create an employment relationship with WorkLinkUp or Specular.
Hiring decisions are ordinarily made by the relevant employer.
WorkLinkUp may provide workflows, verification, moderation and operational assistance but does not guarantee interviews, offers, compensation, immigration outcomes or employment.
10. Career Services
WorkLinkUp may offer services such as resume preparation, mock interviews and other career-development services.
The applicable service page describes the current service, deliverables, revisions and price.
Career Services are intended to provide professional support. They do not guarantee employment, interviews, salary increases or other career outcomes.
Where online purchasing is not yet enabled, the service page will state that the service cannot currently be purchased online.
11. WorkLinkUp Academy
Academy may provide courses, lessons, media and learning-progress functionality.
Course descriptions and availability may change.
Completing a course does not guarantee employment, professional certification or any particular recruitment outcome unless a specific recognised certification is expressly stated.
Private course material must not be redistributed without permission.
12. Payments and refunds
WorkLinkUp may introduce paid services.
Before a paid transaction becomes available, the applicable price, taxes where relevant, payment terms and any service-specific cancellation or refund terms should be displayed to the user.
At present, online payment functionality may be unavailable for some WorkLinkUp services.
No user should be treated as having purchased a service merely because a price is displayed.
13. User content
You retain responsibility for resumes, profile information, company information, job descriptions, support messages and other content you submit.
You give WorkLinkUp the limited permission necessary to host, process, display and transmit that content for providing the service you requested.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your underlying content to WorkLinkUp.
You must have the right to provide any information or files you upload.
14. Acceptable use
You must not use WorkLinkUp to commit fraud, distribute malware, scrape or harvest personal information improperly, bypass access controls, interfere with platform operation, misrepresent employment opportunities, submit candidates without proper authority or use candidate information for unrelated marketing or commercial purposes.
Automated access may be restricted where it threatens platform security, privacy or service availability.
15. Privacy
Our processing of personal information is described in the WorkLinkUp Privacy Policy.
Certain information may need to be retained after account closure where necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, audit integrity or legitimate operational records permitted by applicable law.
16. Account closure
Users may request or initiate account closure through the available account or Support processes.
Closure may disable account access while some records remain retained where legally or operationally required.
Closing an account does not automatically invalidate previous recruitment actions, contracts, transactions or records that must legitimately be retained.
17. Intellectual property
The WorkLinkUp name, platform design, software, platform content and branding belong to Specular or their respective licensors.
These Terms do not give users ownership of WorkLinkUp technology or branding.
Third-party company names, trademarks and externally sourced job content remain the property of their respective owners.
18. Platform availability
We aim to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Features may be changed, improved, suspended or discontinued where reasonably necessary.
We may perform maintenance, security remediation or other operational changes without guaranteeing uninterrupted access.
19. Disclaimer
WorkLinkUp is a technology and services platform. Except where expressly agreed in a separate written contract, WorkLinkUp does not act as the employer of candidates using the marketplace.
Job verification, company verification, source information and moderation processes are intended to improve marketplace trust but cannot eliminate every risk.
Users remain responsible for evaluating opportunities, companies, candidates and employment decisions.
20. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, WorkLinkUp and Specular will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from third-party hiring decisions, external websites, user misrepresentations or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when WorkLinkUp features, legal requirements or business practices change.
The current version and effective date will be displayed on this page.
Where an update materially affects users or requires renewed agreement, we may provide notice or request acknowledgment before continued use.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable consumer rights and mandatory law, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
